The SEO Specialist develops, generates, and interprets periodic performance reports used in ongoing site traffic analysis, monitoring organic search placement, evaluating the effectiveness of the overall SEO strategy. The SEO Specialist reports to and collaborates with the agency Marketing Manager to achieve the strategic SEO goals. 

This position requires in-depth knowledge of content seeding and distribution along with the ability to source and build relationships with external networks and content channels. The SEO Specialist must have the ability to articulate their knowledge in a clear, professional manner via verbal and written communications to both internal and external clients.

Education and Experience Requirements

• 0-3  years' experience in customer facing role. Proven ability to consult and manage customer expectations.
• 2-5+ years previous SEO experience required
• 2-5+ years' experience in consumer Internet marketing required
• Experience with Windows, Mac, Excel, and MS Word required
• Experience with Search Engine Optimization concepts, current techniques and tools is required
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required
• Experience with basic CSS and HTML coding is required

We are searching for a mid-to-senior level web developer who will be responsible for developing innovative, reusable Websites, Web-platforms and campaigns. We're not looking for a developer who is content with one language, rather we need a developer who can crank out an XSLT based site one day and program a Wordpress theme the next.  It's imperative that candidates are abreast all new technologies and have a firm understanding of PHP, ASP.Net, Microsofts MVC Platform and popular enterprise and open-source CMS software. Additionally, this role will require internal collaboration and potential client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Project Managers and other members of the Development Team to both develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Produce project estimates during sales process, including expertise required, total number of people required, total number of development hours required, etc
• Attend client meetings during the sales process and during development when needed
• Work with clients and Project Managers to build and refine graphic designs prior to sharing with the client. Must have strong skills in Photoshop
• Convert raw images and layouts from a graphic designer into CSS/XHTML/mobile themes.
• Determine appropriate CMS architecture, and other technical solutions, and make relevant recommendations to clients
• Communicate to the Project Manager with efficiency and accuracy any progress and/or delays
• Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients
• Alert colleagues to emerging technologies or applications and the opportunities to integrate them into operations and activities
• Be actively involved in and contribute regularly to the Umbraco and Wordpress development communities
• Develop innovative, reusable Web-based tools for internal and client use

Required Skills

• Ability to not throw furnishings when you're struggling to debug code
• BS in computer science, mathematics, music or a related field, or significant equivalent experience
• 3 years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML and CSS
• 2 years minimum Web programming experience, including PHP and ASP.Net. JSP is a plus
• 2 years minimum experience with XSLT
• 1 year minimum experience with Microsoft Razor
• 1 year minimum experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of MSSQL
• Development experience using extensible web authoring tools
• Experience developing and implementing open source software projects
• Self-starter with strong self-management skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Umbraco is a plus

Description:
Reporting to the Sr. Designer and Project Manager, the design intern is responsible for concept development, visual exploration, production/slicing and final execution of design directions. Designers must be able to work successfully within a team setting that includes collaboration with other team members in the design, development, information architecture and client service departments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Concept development for websites, client presentations and multimedia executions under the supervision of Senior Designers and/or Project Managers.
• Execution of production design to support the team throughout the development portion of the process
• Refinement and revisions based on feedback

Required Qualifications:

• Working towards a degree in Graphic Design (or similar area of study)
• Basic understanding of HTML/Flash and the limitations of each
• Ability to adhere to an agreed upon schedule/timeline
• Ability to work in a team-based environment
